What is MTG Pod Stats?
MTG Pod Stats is a free web application designed to help Magic: The Gathering Commander playgroups track games, analyze player performance, and gain insights into win rates, commander effectiveness, and gameplay trends.

Do I need to create an account?
Yes, MTG Pod Stats requires authentication to keep your data secure and private. You can sign up with an email and password.

Is MTG Pod Stats free to use?
Yes, MTG Pod Stats is completely free to use.

What devices can I use?
MTG Pod Stats works on any modern web browser including desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The interface is optimized for mobile use.

Pods & Membership

What is a Pod?
A Pod is your playgroup - a collection of players who regularly play Commander together. Each pod has its own set of games, players, and statistics.

How do I create a Pod?
Click the "Create a Pod" button on the home page, enter a name and optional description, and you're ready to start logging games.

How do I invite friends to my Pod?
Click the "Invite" button on any pod card or from within the pod dashboard. Share the generated invite link with your playgroup members. They'll need to create an account before joining.

Can I be in multiple Pods?
Yes! You can create or join as many pods as you like. Each pod maintains separate players, games, and statistics.

Can I leave a Pod?
Currently, pod membership is permanent. If you need to leave a pod, contact the pod owner or simply stop accessing it.

Logging Games
​
How do I log a game?
Navigate to your pod and click "Log Game" in the top right. Enter the game date, pod size, players, commanders, and placements. The app will automatically calculate statistics.

What if a player or commander isn't in the system?
You can create new players and commanders on the fly while logging games. Just type the name and select "Create new player" or "Create new commander."

Can I edit or delete games after logging?
Currently, games cannot be edited or deleted after creation. Please double-check your entries before submitting.

What statistics are tracked?
We track win rates, average placement, commander performance, games over time, turn-one Sol Ring occurrences, and more.

Data & Privacy
​
Who can see my data?
Only members of your pod can view games and statistics for that pod. Your data is private and not shared publicly.

Can I export my data?
Not currently, but this feature is planned for a future update.
​
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account from the Settings page. This will permanently remove all your data.
