1. Introduction

MTG Pod Stats ("we", "us", or "our") provides a set of Google-Drive–based tools and automation that allow users ("you", "your") to create and manage their own Commander (EDH) gameplay tracking system ("Pod").
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is stored, and what rights you have.

By using MTG Pod Stats, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When creating a Pod, we collect:

Pod Name
Owner Email Address
Optional Player list
Optional Commander list
Optional donation amount

We also receive automated data from your Pod’s Google Form submissions, including:

Timestamps
Player names
Commander names
Gameplay outcomes (placements, wins, losses)
Turn 1 Sol Ring selections
Any free-text comments submitted by players

You should not input sensitive data into your Pod (e.g., passwords, addresses, financial data, medical information).

3. How Your Data Is Used

We use the information you provide for:

Automatically generating a Google Sheet + Google Form for your Pod
Managing your Pod inside the MTG Pod Stats system
Maintaining an internal administrative registry
Responding to errors or abuse
Improving the overall system

Gameplay and Pod data is never shared, sold, or published by us.
You control who has access to your Pod’s Google Drive folder.

4. Storage & Security

Your Pod’s data is stored:

In your Google Drive (Sheets, Forms, and Folders created during setup)
In our MTG Pod Registry (metadata only, such as Pod ID, Owner Email, Links, Donation flags)

We use Google’s built-in security features and Scripts API. However:

No system is 100% secure
You are responsible for managing permissions in your own Google Drive

5. Donations

If you choose to provide an optional donation:

Only the amount is stored
No payment information is ever processed or stored by MTG Pod Stats
Donations are not refundable

Donation information is used only for internal reporting and sustainability of the project.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may update or delete your Pod’s Google Drive data at any time
You may request removal from the MTG Pod Registry
You may stop using MTG Pod Stats at any time
If you want your Pod completely removed, contact: austinswails@gmail.com

7. Children’s Privacy

MTG Pod Stats is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
